Administrative Service & Support

The Focus 10 Life® insurance program is supported by a team of experienced administrative professionals who offer comprehensive services to assist you in administering your Focus 10 Life® plan.

Your designated contact from your Human Resource and /or Accounting departments will communicate directly with the FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. administrator associated with your program, who can act as your liaison between you, your insurance agent and the insurance company.

Efficient Enrollment Services

The FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. administration team will work with you to enroll your initial group of eligible participants. Applications will be made available to your eligible employees through the Focus 10 Life® Online Application website; those employees will simply need to login and complete the application, which can be pre-filled with information that you have provided (such as address, date of birth, etc).

Throughout the enrollment process, your FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. representative will provide on-going support in securing accurate and complete enrollment data in order to streamline policy issuance. In addition, we will provide you with access to the online Admin Portal where you will find an easy-to-use Focus 10 Life® Reference Guide, forms and other pertinent material to assist you in administering the program.

Our administrative expertise extends well beyond the point of customer acquisition. On-going administrative services include:

a. Convenient, Flexible Billings and Collections

For Flexible Design plans, we offer monthly billing, which includes the ability to make quick and accurate updates to your plan before issuing a final monthly bill via e-mail. Our bills provide both summary information and detailed account data in easy-to-use Excel spreadsheets.

For Fixed Design plans, we offer quarterly billing based on calendar year quarters; the quarterly bills will be emailed to your designated contact.  As with the Flexible Design plans, you can report updates to your plan at any time, which will be reflected in the next billing cycle.

Premium payments are processed through our office and our FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. team handles all remittances and reporting to the insurance company.

b. Full Policy Administration

Your FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. team will coordinate policy issuance and distribute policies to you on a timely basis.

New applicants, benefit increases/decreases and employee terminations are also coordinated through our office, as are policy changes such as beneficiary updates.

We employ a state-of-the-art system that allows us to provide to you immediate and accurate coverage details as well as related policy and billing information.

c. Reporting Changes

FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. has made it easy for you to report adjustments to your firm’s Focus 10 Life® coverage, either via email or Excel worksheets included with the monthly bills.

Our office also facilitates all claim reporting with the insurance company, who will process the claim.

d. Group Life (Spillover)/AD&D Administration

FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. can also provide coordinated billing services for Spillover group term life and/or AD&D coverages that are provided to participants in the Focus 10 Life® program.

 

FOCUS 10 LIFE, Inc. completed a SOC 2 examination. SOC 2® reports are examination engagements performed by a service auditor (CPA) in accordance with AT Section 101, Attest Engagements, of SSAEs (AICPA, Professional Standards, vol. 1) using the predefined criteria in TSP section 100, Trust Services Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy (AICPA, Technical Practice Aids).
